Catelyn burns a letter, believes the Lannisters are plotting a plot against Robert and tells Ned about it. Brandon, Ned’s 10-year-old son, climbs the tower and sees Cersei having sex with his twin brother, Jaime. Meanwhile, across the narrow waters of Essos, the exiled prince Viserys Targaryen trades with the warlord Dothraki Khal Drogo, who marries Viserys’ sister Daenerys in exchange for providing troops to Viserys.
